Over the Thanksgiving Holiday I had to stop in Concord, North Carolina to visit my sister in the Hospital. She has diabetes and really had not be taken care of herself and almost slipped into a diabetic coma. We stopped and visited with her on our way down to Texas and then on the way back to Virginia. Lets just say that on the way back she looked better than better. It maded me realized that we run around 24/7 doing this and that and never take the time to care for ourselves the way we should.
I would like everyone reading this post to stop and think about anything that your body might be telling you. You might be young like my sister or a little older, but you still have to listen to the warning signs of anything. Right now because my sister did not do what she need, she will be on Dialysis and awaiting a kidney transplant. If she does not get the kidney, then her life could be cut shorter than planned.
Do the right thing and get the check your have missed or keep putting off. You never know when that simple cold could do something worst. I am not a doctor or related to the medical field in anyway but just a webmaster who would like to remind everyone to take care of yourself!
