2008 roared out like a lion! 2009 will start out clear but cold. Windy conditions knocked out power to about 1600 homes in Central Virginia. Most of the power was restored by the next day.

We go from a high of 73 in the Richmond, VA area to a high of 62 at midnight. Right now the windchill is around 37 degrees F. We have picked up around 0.31 inches of rainfall for the day with a little more on the way.
